Agatha Christie's Own: Hercule Poirot

We invite you to a night of mystery. Join the world famous Belgian detective in three of Agatha Christie's original cases. A night of chasing jewel thieves and international spies, (perhaps while enjoying a tasty entree), with only the help of your "little grey cells" awaits!

Auditions will be held in two cities this year!

In Brook:

When? April 14th, 6-8pm

Where? Our Place, 127 W Main St. Brook, IN

In Rensselaer:

When? April 15th, 6-8pm

Where? Brookside Church, 615 W. Clark St. Rensselaer, IN

How? Just show up, and read lines from a provided script. Or request to be placed backstage.

Note for Auditions: A third of the cast of this production may be asked to perform at Chautauqua on July 12th. Please let us know about your availability for this additional date.

Hercule Poirot: Renowned Belgian detective.
Captain Hastings: Poirot’s friend and narrator.
Mrs. Opalson: Wealthy woman, passionate about her jewelry.
Mr. Opalson: Mrs. Opalson’s husband, a stockbroker.
Inspector Japp: Police officer investigating the robbery.
Célestine: Mrs. Opalson’s French maid.
Chambermaid: Hotel employee accused of the theft.
Police Woman: Typical
Valet: The man with the french chalk
Page-boy: Hotel staff member.

The Cheap Flat

Hercule Poirot: A brilliant detective with a flair for the dramatic.
Captain Hastings: Poirot's loyal companion and narrator.
Mrs. Robinson: A charming young bride with auburn hair.
Mr. Robinson: Her husband, an average-looking man.
The Porter: A curt and suspicious building porter.
The Italian Intruder: A mysterious man with a vendetta.
Inspector Japp: A Scotland Yard detective.

Poirot: A short, somewhat vain, aging bachelor.
Hastings: A thirty-year-old, war veteran. Poirot’s roomate.
Virginine Mesnard: The fiance
John Wilson: An English friend
Francois: The French Butler
Dr. Watson: A Doctor
Dr. Jean Sheerlouk: A french chemist
Dr. John Sheerluck: An english chemist
Maid: House staff member
Madame La Boronne: An infirm elderly woman, with a flare for the dramatic

How much? $8 for a straight ticket, $35 for the dinner theater (Saturday night only, special tickets must be bought in advance)

Tickets will be made available online several weeks prior to the performance. Straight tickets may also be purchased at the door.
