The workshops will include four sessions of general instruction about the Bard; who he was, how to understand the language, and how he is relevant today. These will take place January 6th, 8th, 13th, and 15th. 6-8:30pm. They are free to attend, but registration is required.

At the conclusion of the workshops, those who wish to be in a show will be given parts in selections of the Bard's work, to be rehearsed every Tuesday and Thursday, 6-8:30pm from January 20th - February 20th, with a full week of rehearsals the last week of February, culminating in a performance.

This performance will showcase a collection of vignettes and selected scenes from a variety of Shakespeare's works, and will be held February 26th, 27th, and 28th. Doors open at 6:30pm, show at 7pm. This will be a FREE event, courtesy of the Indiana Arts Commission. Freewill donations to our building fund will be accepted. Concessions will be available. Venue TBA.
At The Carnegie Players, we believe that families should share the love of theater with each other. To that end, we encourage those under the age of 13 to be accompanied by a guardian during all events. The guardian is welcome to participate in the event, or not, as they choose, for no additional cost.
